Tired of routine? Need a bit of fresh energy? I’ve been helping groups and individuals brainstorm ideas for 3 years now, and even won a teaching position with one of the activities I have people try. I help people unleash their creative juices to get to innovative solutions by getting them to quickly release self-imposed mental handicaps. I’m happy to do active seminars for free anytime I’m available, so get in touch with me and we’ll work out a time.
I’ve edited hundreds of college/med school/scholarship essays over the past 4+ years for friends, family, and random people, and I just completed an interview with a pretty large news organization (unnamed for now because it’s not yet published) about my experiences, what advice I’d give to people who are in any sort of application process, etc. People I’ve edited for have been accepted to Stanford, Harvard, UPenn, UCLA, UCSF, MIT, and other great schools, so I feel comfortable saying that I have a knack for helping people express themselves effectively. If you’re applying for something and looking for personalized coaching to help tighten your writing and better your chances, look no further, I’m here to help. I can’t make any guarantees other than that I will do my absolute best for you, but in return I ask that if you are going to use me, please be serious about being a top contender. In all my years I’ve never charged for my work, but then again, I haven’t had to worry about making rent until this year. From now on I will be charging on a case-by-case basis–let me know what exactly you need and I’ll give you a quote based on how much time I think I’ll need for the project.
Obviously, this is all for free.
PRE-MED ADVICE
Need some honest advice from someone who’s been through it all? Hit me up here and I’ll tackle your questions/concerns as best as I know how. Take it all with a grain of salt (as you should with any advice, really), but with the comfort of knowing that I refuse to give you anything remotely resembling sugarcoated bullshit. I have a vendetta against poor mentoring, and if I don’t know something, I will be entirely upfront about it.
INTERFACE DESIGN
I think I do a reasonably good job at interface design–it bugs me when something isn’t simple/intuitive/effective. If you’d like feedback on anything you’re making/designing, I’d be thrilled to give you my thoughts.
