Med Student Haven
This Wikipedia-inspired website is where I’ve begun the long and rather tedious process of compiling simple, easy to read guides to make it easier for people to study in medical school. Goodness knows we have little enough time on our hands as it is, so hopefully it helps people out. I’m particularly proud of the histology portion so far, and I’m going to be fleshing out the other parts of the website during my breaks–keep checking back, I promise this project will always be ongoing!
Slide Master
I’m pretty frustrated with the histology slide-viewing software that I’ve gotten from school, so I’m in the process of creating my own in Java–it’s a lot of work trying to figure out how to optimize the speed of the image processing, but I think I’m making ok progress, and so far I’ve been able to tack on a few features that I think would be really useful, so we’ll see how things go. Eventually I might well be able to market this once it’s done!
Various websites
I’m often making random websites for various projects, whether personal or for someone else. It’s a fun little hobby I try to maintain in what little free time I have.
